Taylor Wimpey Planning Application for Wisley is unanimously rejected by the Planning Committee

All 15 councillors on the Planning Committee voted to reject the application as it stands, the level of sustainability and harm, being impossible to assess without the many missing pieces of evidence. GGGCouncillor, Pat Oven raised concerns about the insurmountable issues of proximity to the Thames basin SPA and questionable location of SANG and the future for the skylarks currently inhabiting the area was also raised. All councillors raised concerns over sustainability and some over the scale pointing out that we are in a very different place today than we once were.

GGG believes that the exclusion of the cycle path to the station with the most trains, initially included to mitigate against sustainability concerns conflicts with the local plan. Read More
